Ricardo Moyano (Argentina)

Guitarist Ricardo Moyano was born in Argentina and is the son of famous writer Daniel Moyano. He began his education at the conservatory in his hometown and completed his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid. Moyano won first prizes at international competitions in Spain, France, Argentina and Portugal. A recognized artist, he came to Paris to deepen his knowledge of Renaissance and Baroque music. He taught as a professor for guitar in Istanbul for several years. Moyano recorded over 30 CDs as a soloist or with well-known musicians. His playing, influenced by the baroque, classical, Argentinian, Spanish and Turkish folk music and his interest in guitar improvisation, especially in jazz, is unique. His compositions have been published by ProLatinMusic Verlag.*

The concert series "GUITARRA LATINA 2023" in Kassel gives the world of South American guitar music a stage. This year, several internationally renowned guitarists from South America, who are very close to me, finally find their way to Europe again as part of tours.

For the Kassel audience, I would like to invite these exceptional musicians to concerts that will form a series throughout 2023.

Among others, Juan Falú (Argentina), Ricardo Moyano (Argentina) and Sergio Valdeos (Peru) will perform.
